Only one week to go until our beautiful Autumn Equinox Goddess circle. This is such a fabulous event and the energy of the collective coming together is always so intense. If you have never experienced the support of a woman circle then I highly recommend it. I, myself in my previous life, would have run a million miles from a women's circle. The thought of being surrounded with woman was not a place I ever wanted to be in. I felt women were bitches, unwelcoming and judgmental. Maybe that was just me, they say what you see is a reflection of yourself and I was a the most judgmental there was. I felt more comfortable and more myself in a group of men as friends. I never felt like I was one of the girls. I didn't fit the mold. So yeah, a women's circle would have been torture so I completely get it if the through of that puts people off but now, the new me, loves it. It is soo supportive, so nurturing. To watch women lift each other, to help each other with their burdens that they carry, because as we all know, we women carry a lot. To be in a space where you are not judged, where you are not alone in your worries or thoughts, where others feel the same, have been through the same, it's completely overwhelming.
I hold these circles because of where I was, where I have come from. I know what it feels like to feel alone, lost in the darkness without a clue of where to turn. Of being surrounded by friends and family but yet feels so alone its hurts. Scared of speaking out about your feelings because you will be judged. I wanted to create a safe space for people to speak their truth, to be themselves with no judgment and only support to find the light again because that was what I needed and I didnt know where to find it.
I once got told that you don't have to be at the top of the mountain before you help other people up, you just have to be one step ahead.
So come and experience the circle of women for yourself who knows you might be the person that is one step ahead and can lift another or they may just lift you. Come and join us in the woods xx
